Ingredients:
2 T. Butter
1 Onion, Chopped
1 Lb. Bulk Sausage
6 C. Chicken Broth
2 T. Flour
1 C. Heavy Whipping Cream
2 C. All-Natural Peanut Butter (Sugar Free, Naturally Made)
2 C. Chopped Peanuts
2 C. Chopped Green and Red Peppers
2 T. Hot Sauce
2 Limes, Juiced
2 T. Chopped Peanuts
1 T. Sour Cream
Easy Directions:
Melt the butter in a heavy bottomed pot over heat. Add the onion, peppers and sausage. Cook the sausage until no pink remains. Drain. In another sauce pan, bring the chicken broth to a rolling boil. In the large original pot, add in flour and cook until the mixture has a toasty aroma. Whisk the broth into the sausage mixture. Add in the heavy cream and peanut butter. Stir to combine and melt. Stir in the hot sauce, limes and 2 cups of chopped peanuts. The soup will be creamy. You can garnish with extra chopped peanuts and sour cream!
Printed this recipe & so excited to try it tonight!! Just noticed it say 1 c chopped peanuts in list, but 2 cups chopped peanuts in directions. Please clarify. Thanks, Sharon
